PebblePad requires a few technical requirements to run efficiently. These are:

• Javascript needs to be enabled 
• Pop up blocker needs to be off 
• Version 7 or higher of the Adobe flash player 
• Internet browser such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla, Safari, Netscape etc 
• Internet connection 
• Windows XP or above operating system 

In most cases using PebblePad will not require the user to change any settings on their computer as they will already exist.

In the unlikely case that PebblePad doesn't work as expected or if you want to check your computer set up before you get your PebblePad account you can check the areas above using the detailed check link below and any problems can be rectified using the troubleshooting links below.

Getting started and troubleshooting

Pebble Learning provide a checking system so that you are able to check the elements listed above. By clicking on this link and looking at the settings you can check your PC meets requirements. It needs to say the following:

Javascript is enabled - this needs to say yes,

Version of Flash player - this needs to be version 7 or higher

Pop ups are blocked - this needs to say no.
