Each unit consists of 3 types of blog:

• A series of weekly activity blogs – each weekly activity blog has space to record responses to the weekly set tasks 
• A personal blog – for one-to-one communication between learner and online tutor. 
• A group blog – a place for dialogue, collaboration and group activities for the tutor and all learners on the unit

The three types of blog were developed from principles set out by

Garrison, Anderson & Archer's Model of a Community of Inquiry.
