There are a number of different styles of referencing, with the Harvard system being one of the most commonly used. In this parcel, we will focus on Harvard Referencing and explain how to use this style in your work.

 

This section contains a lot of information because it is important to get it right when using any referencing style. But, don't panic! You don't have to learn the system off by heart and we have created a Referencing Guide for you to refer to and use as a template when you are writing up.

Start with the Introduction to Harvard Referencing vodcast which provides you with an overview of the Harvard system and tells you what you need to know and why you need to know it.
